Asbury High student arrested for making threat, school officials say

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — A student at Asbury High School was arrested for making a threat inside a classroom on Tuesday, according to a spokesperson for Marshall County Schools.

MCS said that after the student made the threat, he was immediately detained, and then school security took him into custody. He didn’t have a happen a weapon, but did make a threat, school officials added.

“We will continue to take all comments seriously and keep safety as our number one priority,” the MCS spokesperson said…
