LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A 21-year-old man allegedly crashed into two vehicles, including an unmarked Louisville police car, while trying to get away from a traffic stop in a stolen car earlier this week.
Around 1:30 p.m. Aug. 19, according to an arrest report, officers spotted a stolen 2024 Nissan Sentra on Dixie Highway and began following it. As they followed the Nissan, the driver — identified as 21-year-old Treyshaun Shelton — turned into a car dealership parking lot on the west side of Dixie Highway, just north of Upper Hunters Trace.
Police said Shelton then turned left out of the parking lot, traveling north in the southbound lanes of traffic. An officer in an unmarked vehicle turned on his emergency equipment to pursue the Shelton, who refused to stop and took “evasive action.”…
