The wheels of justice might be taking a detour this week in the much-publicized case involving a former Key Biscayne gymnastics coach accused of sexually assaulting multiple underage students.
Last Thursday in a Miami courtroom, Oscar Olea, now 40, accepted a plea deal with prosecutors, saying he will plead guilty to four felony sex charges, instead of the six counts he had been facing. Olea is set to be sentenced to 12 years in a state prison, followed by 10 years of sex offender probation, court records showed.
