MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A woman who allegedly made a home explosion device and a man were accused of plotting the woman’s escape from a Tennessee detention center last week.
On Aug. 14, the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office received information from the detention center about a plan for an escape attempt.
After speaking to witnesses and gathering information in the investigation, they said Mark Montgomery, 48, from Greenville, Miss,. was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit a crime.
Christina Willis, 27, of Batesville, was arrested earlier this month after allegedly making a homemade explosive device.
