NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 59-year-old man was arrested Monday, more than two weeks after he is accused of carrying out a robbery at a convenience store in the Priest Lake area.
According to court documents, around 5 a.m. on July 31, Douglas Peeples entered a 7-Eleven store on Smith Springs Road and approached an employee. He allegedly demanded that she open the register while making statements such as “I will blow your brains out,” leading her to believe he was armed with a gun.

Reports said he punched the employee in the face and in the back of the head before removing $187 in cash from the register and leaving the store.
The victim identified Peeples in a photo lineup on Aug. 13. Days later, he was arrested and charged with felony aggravated robbery, felony robbery and a felony parole violation. He remains jailed on a $125,000 bond…
