Front Street Animal Shelter has officially hit capacity – the kennels are full, and more dogs arrive every single day. To help make space and save lives, the shelter is waiving all adoption fees for dogs and puppies now through Sunday, Aug. 24.
Adopters can bring home a new family member for free and still receive all the essentials that would normally cost close to $1,000 at a private vet clinic – including spay or neuter surgery, vaccinations, and a microchip.
“We are completely out of space,” said Phillip Zimmerman, Shelter Manager. “As the City of Sacramento’s open admission shelter, we take in new dogs every day, and we are over capacity. We need the community’s help to open their homes so we can continue our lifesaving work.”…
