Dozens of students evacuated due to gas leak at San Jose school: SJFD

(KRON) — Approximately 50 students have been evacuated due to a gas leak at a San Jose school, the San Jose Fire Department (SJFD) announced on X. The gas leak occurred at around 12:48 p.m. at the Morgan Autism Center on St. Elizabeth Drive.

A gas line was struck by a construction crew and caused the gas leak, according to SJFD. As of 1:09 p.m., PG&E crews were able to stop the gas leak.

No injuries were reported. No other information was immediately available…
