BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Some Middleton Township residents are raising concerns over a rezoning request that would potentially allow light industrial development near the site of the new Meta data center.
Neighbors along Devils Hole Road say they’re already uneasy about how the $800 million Meta project could affect the power grid and water supply. Now, a proposal to rezone more than 100 acres from agricultural to light industrial has them fearing even bigger changes to their quiet community.
“It’s not something that I ever thought would ever come up,” said Sandy Blanchard, who has lived on the road for 31 years. “It’s not a good deal and I have a feeling that they know what the plan is, but they’re not telling us. We can’t sleep at night because we’re wondering.”…
