One person is left with serious injuries after a crash on U.S. 71 Highway in Kansas City Wednesday morning.
Officers responded just after midnight to Highway 71 near 51st Street in Kansas City. The crash happened as a black Honda Civic sped north on Highway 71, according to a preliminary investigation.
Just south of 51st Street, the Honda allegedly sideswiped a blue Hyundai Kona that was also traveling north on Highway 71, according to a crash report.
