Animal Control rescues over 30 animals from two separate hoarding instances in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) – Authorities are investigating two separate animal hoarding cases in Lincoln that resulted in the rescue of over 30 animals.

In July, Animal Control officers responded to an apartment in northwest Lincoln. Upon arrival, Animal Control said officers found the floor of the apartment covered with animal waste.

Animal Control said the owner had also left several cats and a dog inside a camper that was parked in direct sunlight. The internal temperature of the camper was in excess of 100 degrees and there was no accessible water provided…
