LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock Police Department said one person suffered serious injuries after a crash in the 3800 block of Idalou Road on Tuesday night.
LPD said it was notified a short time ago about the crash that involved a small motorbike around 10:20 p.m.

Police said it appears the victim on the motorbike was hit by a vehicle that left the scene. The victim was taken to University Medical Center by ambulance. LPD was not notified at the time of the incident because it was not immediately clear what caused the victim’s injuries.
