LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Isolated to scattered showers will continue through this afternoon and then potentially through the night. Some hazards may be heavy localized flooding and strong winds.
Surface moisture has been decent across the region, and winds have been relatively light from the southeast, around 5 to 10 mph. These factors, combined with afternoon heating reaching convective temperatures, have helped with shower and storm development this afternoon.
