No one that was at that Kansas City, Missouri concert knew how historic it would end up being. It’s been nearly 40 years since Journey performed their last concert in Missouri with Steve Perry and there are new memories of that night.
It was September 22, 1986 when Journey performed at the Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri.
The setlist that night was full of Journey classics as their Raised on Radio tour landed in Missouri. Many remember that Journey also performed the 1984 Steve Perry solo song “Oh Sherrie” that night, too.
Someone in the audience that night in Kansas City captured that concert on a small recorder…
