ST. LOUIS — The Festival of Nations returns to Tower Grove Park on Saturday, August 23, and Sunday, August 24.
Hosted by the International Institute of St. Louis, it’s the region’s largest multicultural festival, celebrating more than 80 cultures with food, music, dance, and family-friendly activities. Each year, more than 100,000 people attend to experience the sights, sounds, and flavors from around the world.
Wednesday morning, Abby’s Filipino Food joined Mary Caltrider in the Show Me St. Louis kitchen to share some of the dishes festival-goers can look forward to this weekend. Visitors can also enjoy live performances on two stages and cultural demonstrations throughout the park.
Tips for Festival-Goers
- Go early and head straight for the food lines — the best dishes go fast!
- Cashless event — be sure to bring your card.
- Share the experience — if you’re with a group, split up and try as many dishes as possible.
- Bring a blanket or lawn chair to relax and enjoy performances throughout the day.
