Man wanted in fatal Jeff-Vander-Lou hit-and-run

ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD) is calling for the public’s help in their investigation surrounding a fatal hit-and-run that claimed the life of a 20-year-old woman.

According to SLMPD, officials were alerted to reports of a car that struck a woman around 1:00 a.m. in the 2500 block of North Grand on Aug. 16 in the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood.

Officers reported that the suspected driver abandoned his vehicle, an Infinity QX70, at a nearby gas station in the 3700 block of North Grand and fled the scene on foot.

When first responders arrived at the scene in the 2500 block of N. Grand, they located the victim, who was later identified as Tori Dunn of St. Louis. EMS transported Dunn to the hospital, but she passed away from her injuries…
