Officials have released the name of the man who died last weekend in a Multnomah County jail.
Chad William Scott, 51, was found unresponsive around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday at Inverness Jail in Northeast Portland. Paramedics pronounced him dead after deputies and corrections health staff tried to revive him.
Scott was booked into custody the day before, according to a statement from the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.
