ALBANY, N.Y. (WNYT) — A man is heading to prison for stealing more than $5,000 worth of cash and items from an 80-year-old Watervliet woman’s home.
Darrell Carson, 46, was sentenced in Albany County Court on Tuesday to 5 years in prison. Carson broke into a home on Fourth Avenue on Oct. 25, 2024. The woman came home to find that the back door windowpane was smashed and the place ransacked, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office.
