‘We were all excited’: Teen who received kidney from firefighter father throws 1st pitch at IronPigs game

ALENTOWN, Pa. – Wednesday night’s first pitch at the IronPigs game was an emotional one for one Allentown family. The pitcher, a local teenager, and the catcher, her father.

17-year-old Gabrielle Perreault has her whole life ahead of her thanks to her medical team and her father. Gabby was born with a rare genetic disorder that led to nephrotic syndrome.
