Police Charge Man In April Southeast Fatal Shooting

WASHINGTON, DC.- Last Thursday, a 30-year-old Washington, D.C., man was taken into custody and jailed after being charged in connection with the targeted shooting death of a 22-year-old man that occurred earlier this year in Southeast, D.C.
According to D.C. Metropolitan Police Chief Pamela A. Smith, on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, shortly after 6:30 p.m., members of the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department’s Seventh District responded to multiple reports of a shooting on the 2900 Block of Knox Place in Southeast, D.C.
