The woman suspected of shooting up a Huntington Beach business and wounding one of its employees was a coworker, police say.
Lucero San Pedro-Castro, 29, of Baldwin Park, is suspected of entering California Closets warehouse at 5921 Skylab Road Monday morning, opening fire at two workers, hitting one and missing the other.
San Pedro-Castro later fled the scene in her vehicle but was stopped about two hours later by a South Gate Police Department officer. That officer fatally shot her after she allegedly pointed her gun at them.
