YMCA celebrates anniversary with senior fun day

The YMCA of Greater Erie celebrated a milestone and hosted a senior fun day as well.

Wednesday marked 165 years that the Y has been providing services and programs in Erie for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

The first preliminary meeting of the founding volunteers took place in August 1860.
