CENTRAL, S.C. (WSPA) – Having available and convenient healthcare is becoming more of a reality for Clemson and Central residents, being the only emergency department in the area.
“Not too long ago, one of my children had a head injury and had to go to the emergency department, and luckily there was one nearby. If I hadn’t been that way, I don’t know what patient parents would do if they had to drive long distances to receive that,” said Michael Haje, AnMed Vice President of Ambulatory Operations.
Health care will be closer to home in the Central and Clemson area, as opposed to having to drive further away to the nearest emergency room…
