SPRINGFIELD Mich. (WOOD) — A man was arrested and another person fled from deputies after they were caught breaking into vehicles at a Battle Creek-area dealership Tuesday, the sheriff’s office said.
The first calls the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office received were just before 7 a.m. Monday — reports of breaking and entering as well as items stolen from vehicles at Battle Creek Honda and Sunshine Toyota, both on W Dickman Road between N 20th Street and Forest Street in Springfield.
Deputies figured out that suspects had broken into a gated area and ten vehicles, stealing items. They collected evidence and surveillance footage but no suspects were found at the time…
