Hitachi Invests $106M In West Tennessee

Today, Hitachi Energy announced a major $106 million investment to expand its Alamo, Tennessee transformer manufacturing facility – creating 100 new jobs and making it the largest facility in North America producing transformer bushings and other key transformer components essential to securing America’s lead in the global AI race.

At an event at the facility in Crockett County today, they celebrated this momentous news alongside Tennessee Governor Bill Lee, U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty, U.S. Congressman David Kustoff, and dozens of other local officials and business leaders who’ve been invaluable partners for our growth in the state.
