NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Just days after a fire destroyed a dozen units at a Bellevue apartment complex, a blaze broke out Wednesday at another complex in the area.
According to the Nashville Fire Department, crews responded to reports of an apartment fire at Landmark at Lyncrest Reserve Apartments along Belle Valley Drive on Wednesday, Aug. 20. When personnel arrived at the scene, they saw heavy black smoke and flames coming from the roof of an apartment building.
Officials said members of a construction crew told first responders they forced their way into one of the units because they thought someone might be inside. However, after a primary search, firefighters didn’t find anybody inside the building.
