NASHVILLE, Tenn. (TCN) — A 40-year-old man stands accused of fatally strangling his 46-year-old girlfriend after he allegedly threatened her with a knife months ago.
According to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, on the morning of Aug. 18, Jared Streich called 911 and said his girlfriend, Miranda Gray, was unresponsive. A responding officer reportedly asked how long Gray had been unresponsive, but Streich didn’t answer.
Following an autopsy, detectives determined Gray died of strangulation and charged Streich with murder. Police noted that he and Gray had a history of domestic violence, and officers had arrested him numerous times…
