A few isolated downpours will be possible this afternoon into the evening, mainly west of I-95. Severe weather is not expected, but storms could grow tall enough to produce a lightning strike or two.
Beach conditions will be dangerous the next few days as Hurricane Erin passes well to our east. There will be a high risk for rip currents, along with wave heights reaching 5 to 7 feet over the next few days.
