WILMINGTON, NC — The Images of Distinction exhibit returns to downtown Wilmington this week, showcasing the best work of the Cape Fear Camera Club.
The exhibit opens Friday at the Burgwin-Wright House, beginning with a reception from 6 to 9 p.m. where visitors can meet photographers and view their work. The showcase will remain on display through Sept. 20.
Founded in 1987 by R.J. Thompson, the Cape Fear Camera Club has grown from just eight members meeting at the New Hanover County Library to more than 160 active photographers today.
