SHIOCTON, Wis. (WBAY) – Good news for childcare providers and families: Governor Tony Evers was in Shiocton on Wednesday, championing the first round of childcare bridge payments worth nearly $9 million to over 3,000 providers across Wisconsin.
Governor Evers says this is the first time ever that state money is being allocated for this purpose and he is grateful that the legislature is helping childcare providers.
