New rideshare transit service coming to Gladstone this fall

GLADSTONE, Mo. (KCTV) – A new taxi-like service is coming to Gladstone to replace the contracted IRIS service through the Kansas City Area Transit Authority – and city leaders said it will give residents an affordable way to get around town.

Beginning in September, the city will partner with GEST, a Cincinnati-based company. The flat fee will be $3 per ride within Gladstone, with trips provided in new 2025 hybrid powered SUVs, according to GEST CEO Patrick Dye.
