TOPEKA (KSNT) – An anonymous winner claimed a Powerball lottery ticket worth $150,000 in Kansas this month as the jackpot prize climbs to nearly $650 million.
The Kansas Lottery reports that a lucky Powerball ticket was sold on Wednesday, Aug. 13 at a QuickTrip gas station located at 4202 Kansas Avenue in Kansas City, Kansas. The winning ticket’s numbers were 04-11-40-44-50 with a Powerball of 4.
Cory Thone, Kansas Lottery spokesman, said the initial prize for matching the four white balls and the Powerball resulted in a $50,000 prize. However, a 3X multiplier caused it to jump up to $150,000…
