WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC4) — On Sunday, several West Jordan homes caught fire and were damaged. 17-year-old Carter Jacobson and his friends jumped into action and saved two dogs from one of the burning homes.
Around 5:30 p.m., on August 17, 2025, a fire broke out in the area of Jackling Way in West Jordan. The fire destroyed two homes and damaged several others. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported.
17-year-olds Carter Jacobson, Gabriel Hernandez, and Camerin Inselsberger were doing yard work nearby when the fire started. Gabriel looked up and saw plumes of black smoke coming from the nearby homes.
