COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) — The South Carolina Forestry Commission said one of two dogs believed to be in recent attacks at Harbison State Forest was spotted on Wednesday.
SCFC provided an update on social media, saying the brown dog was seen on forest property. Every person who encountered the dog, including a forest employee, said it ran away when approached or called. SCFC added that the dog was reportedly not aggressive.
A patrol was then conducted of the forest, but the dog was not located. No other evidence was found on any trail cameras. SCFC said box traps have also since been placed at locations near the reported sightings…
