PennDOT planning lane restrictions on I-79 for inspection work

(WJET/WFXP)– Drivers who usually take Interstate 79 in and out of the City of Erie should be prepared for some slowdowns in traffic during two separate weeks as they take the next steps in a bridge repair project.

PennDOT announced the stretch of I-79 between the West 26th and West 12th Street exits will have temporary lane restrictions as inspection work goes on in the area as part of the I-79 bridge project.
