34-year-old man killed in ‘family dispute’ in Graham

GRAHAM, N.C. (WGHP) — A 34-year-old man was shot and killed in a “family dispute” on Wednesday night, according to the Graham Police Department.

At around 10:56 p.m. on Wednesday, officers came to a home on the 400 block of Poplar Street after getting a report of a shooting.

At the scene, police found 34-year-old Thomas Jeffries Jr., who had been shot in the abdomen. Jeffries was taken to a local medical facility, where he later died as a result of his injuries…
