Indiana Traffic Stop Leads to Arrests on Gun and Drug Charges

Fowler, IN – A traffic stop in Benton County led to the arrest of two Alabama residents after deputies allegedly uncovered drugs and firearms Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted a stop around 4:12 p.m. on U.S. 41. During the stop, officers said the female driver appeared to be under the influence, prompting further investigation.

Authorities reported that Terri Elyse Ward, 36, of Harvest, Alabama, was arrested on suspicion of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a narcotic, possession of a schedule 1 controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia…
