Man charged with throwing 5-year-old, breaking their elbow moved to Lancaster Co. court

FULTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WHP) — The case of a Lancaster County man accused of throwing a five-year-old girl and breaking her elbow is moving to the Court of Common Pleas, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.

Edward Cummings, 40, is facing aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child charges. He was recently in court for a preliminary hearing last week, when it was announced his case would be moving forward.

Prosecutors say Cummings picked up and violently threw the child on a bed, injured her in December 2024 at a house on Black Barren Road in Fulton Township…
