MEMPHIS, Tenn. – A Memphis resident has won $2 million in the Powerball lottery by matching five numbers with the Power Play option in the latest drawing.
The winning ticket was sold at a Mapco location on 2142 Central Ave. in Midtown. The win comes as the Powerball jackpot continues to climb, reaching $700 million for the upcoming Saturday drawing, marking the largest advertised jackpot in over a year.
