Myrtle Beach urges ‘extreme caution’ as Erin moves northeast

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WPDE) — The City is urging “extreme caution” to residents and visitors as Hurricane Erin moves northeast.

They said strong rip currents and high surf remain a concern even as Erin moves away.

On Thursday, the next high tide is expected to bring waves of four to seven feet around 7:05 p.m.
