Santa Rosa could lose another 500 acres of farmland to single family homes

The term “D.R. Horton-esque” has entered the lexicon of the Santa Rosa Zoning Board, and not in a good way.

Board Chairman Ed Carson used the term to describe a developer’s plan to build a 656-lot subdivision in the rural Allentown area.
