Warrants for Emmanuel Haro parents’ phones issued, fire ‘unrelated’

(NewsNation) — Warrants have been issued for cellphones belonging to Emmanuel Haro’s parents as deputies continue their search for the missing 7-month-old in Southern California.

Baby Emmanuel was reported missing Aug. 14. His mother told police he was taken from the parking lot of a Big 5 Sporting Goods store in Yucaipa by a stranger who knocked her unconscious as she was changing his diaper.

On Wednesday, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department confirmed it had received a tip about a possible sighting of Emmanuel in nearby Kern County but he hasn’t yet been found.

The sheriff’s department also said Wednesday that a fire at a neighbor’s property near the family’s home in Cabazon, California, isn’t believed to be related to his disappearance.

“We know the community is deeply concerned about this case and we will continue to provide information, to the extent it does not jeopardize the investigation,” the department wrote…
