Around 4:30 p.m. SPD pulled over a vehicle in South Sacramento for a traffic stop. The driver allegedly failed to yield to officers, and a pursuit ensued. After a short police chase, the suspect footbailed and fled in the area of 12th Avenue and 44th Street, according to SPD.
