Santa Barbara man could face up to 15 years in state prison after a Ventura County jury found him guilty of assaulting a California Highway Patrol officer during a 2024 DUI arrest.
Investigators said Jesse Andrew Mendoza, 20, was spotted by an officer speeding and weaving on the southbound 101 Freeway in Ventura and the officer pulled him over.
