As planners of an ambitious rail-to-trail project from Marin County to Humboldt County tout their progress, an ongoing lawsuit threatens segments in the North Bay.
The Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit, which is responsible for the leg of the Great Redwood Trail running through the two counties, is being sued by about 65 residents who aren’t happy about the path meandering through their property lines.
