A Delaware man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for fatally striking a college student from New Jersey with his motorcycle as he fled from police, according to published reports.
Brian Briddle, 27, pleaded guilty Aug. 15 in the death of Noelia Gomez, 18, of Clark, Union County, who was in her freshman year at the University of Delaware.
Briddle, who faced murder and other charges, was sentenced to prison with a tentative release date of July 2039, according to delawareonline.com…
