Atlanta, GA, August 21, 2025: This month, Sprinkling Smiles had the honor of joining hands with the parents of Anvi Sharma, who tragically lost her life in a car crash in Alpharetta in 2024. On what would have been Anvi’s 20th birthday, her family chose not to let the day pass in silence. Instead, they transformed their grief into a beacon of love and service by dedicating the monthly food donation drive at Woodruff Park, Atlanta, to her cherished memory.
Through this collaboration, warm meals were shared with homeless individuals across the park — not just filling stomachs, but also filling hearts with hope and compassion. Anvi’s parents, in their quiet strength, reminded us all that even in the face of unimaginable loss, kindness can prevail. By contributing a significant portion of this month’s drive, they ensured that Anvi’s birthday became a celebration of giving, reminding everyone that the truest way to honor a loved one is to spread light in their name.
“At Sprinkling Smiles, the mission has always been to create ripples of positivity by serving those in need,” the organization said through a press release. “This special event carried a deeper meaning: it was not just about food, but about connection, remembrance, and community healing. Volunteers, families, and friends came together to cook, serve, and distribute meals — each act carrying the spirit of Anvi’s bright soul”.
“Anvi’s story has now become part of ours. Her memory inspires us to continue building a culture of compassion in Atlanta and beyond. The Sharma family’s gesture is a testament to the fact that love, when shared selflessly, can transform pain into purpose and loss into legacy,” the release said…
