Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) – The grain elevators at Canalside have been in the dark this summer, much to the chagrin of folks who come down each year.
Debbie Williams lives in Colden, but frequents Canalside often. She loves seeing the light show on the grain elevators, but for, at least, the last couple of months, it hasn’t been on.
“This is the 200th anniversary of the Erie Canal, and we’re getting more visitors and more local people discovering our waterways. It’s a shame, because it’s such a wonderful feature of the Canalside,” said Williams in an interview with WBEN…
