Pokémon film poster from ’99 goes viral after being uncovered at Manhattan subway station

If you ever wanted to experience the Pokémon craze as it was back in the late ’90s, or if you’re simply in the mood for a bit of rose-tinted nostalgia, look no further than New York City’s Lower East Side.

A poster for “Pokémon: The First Movie,” which was released in 1999, was discovered at the East Broadway F train subway station, hidden beneath decades of posters that had been pasted over it and a MetroCard machine which was recently removed.

Like a rare sighting of the legendary Pokémon Mewtwo, who is featured in the film, the poster is quite the gem!…
