CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A member of the Clarksville Police Department was taken into custody Wednesday night following an investigation into a domestic violence situation.
At the request of 19th Judicial District Attorney General Robert Nash, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said its agents started investigating a report of an aggravated assault involving 38-year-old Clarksville Officer Alan Greenman on Wednesday, Aug. 20. CPD said it conducted the initial investigation and then requested the TBI’s involvement due to the officer’s involvement.

Over the course of the case, authorities said they learned Greenman threatened the victim and assaulted her.
According to the TBI, agents arrested Greenman Wednesday night for one count of aggravated domestic assault and one count of aggravated kidnapping. He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on a $75,000 bond…
