FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) For the second day in a row, an Allen County Sheriff’s Department truck is parked in the lot of a business corridor on Fort Wayne’s north side.
The business corridor is located in the 7700 block of Westfield Drive which runs parallel to Coldwater Road just northwest of Cook Road. Just to the west of the businesses is an apartment complex.
When contacted by WANE 15 about why the Incident Command truck is parked there along with yellow police tape that cordones an area, a sheriff’s department spokesperson said it’s part of an “active investigation,” and there is no danger to the public. The investigation is related to a previous case.
